Guided visit to Dachau: A powerful journey through history
Dachau Concentration Camp was the first Nazi concentration camp, established in 1933 near Munich. Originally built to hold political prisoners, it later became a model for other camps. It is remembered as a place of suffering for thousands, including Jews, Roma, clergy, and others persecuted by the Nazi regime.
Visiting Dachau offers a powerful insight into the early years of the Holocaust and the system of oppression it set in motion. The site includes preserved barracks, the original gatehouse, and the crematorium. Exhibitions throughout the memorial provide a detailed look at life in the camp and the crimes that took place there.

Well organized tour of Dachau
This tour was really well done. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything. It was an informative and emotional visit. Getting to Dachau from Munich by train was easy. The bus ride from the station to the memorial was short, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The site is quite large, but we were prepared for walking. It was a powerful experience for all of us, and I’m really glad we chose to go with a guide.
Great guide and respectful experience
I chose the private tour because I wanted to walk at my own pace and really take my time. We had traveled from the U.S., and this visit was especially meaningful for my parents. Our guide was excellent, thoughtful, and ready to answer every question we had. He also adjusted the pace for my parents without ever making us feel rushed. The whole experience was deeply moving, respectful, and personal. Highly recommend it.
An experience you won't forget!
